Learn About Our CSA
You are invited to join our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) market of fresh vegetables with weekly delivery to a location near you throughout our coming growing season.
By joining the Matthews Farm CSA, you help assure the future of our farm by providing income early in the year to help pay for seeds, our greenhouses, planting, and labor at a time of year when the farm has many expenses, but not much income yet.
In exchange, you will receive an abundance of fresh, homegrown vegetables throughout the summer growing season, delivered to a location near you.
We currently offer three ordering options: Full Farm Shares, which provide plenty of vegetables for a household and are picked up at our farm, 1/2 Farm Shares, which provide a variety of vegetables for a single person or couple and are picked up at our farm, and Neighbor’s Shares, which are equal to a Full Farm Share and can be delivered to a neighborhood pickup site having at least 10 members.
Members of the Matthews Farm CSA will also receive a 10% discount on fresh fruits and vegetables when you visit us at the farm during the season.
NOTE: If you would be interested in becoming a Neighborhood Drop-off Site for at least 10 members, please let us know soon and you can receive a discount off your CSA membership.
The 2013 CSA application deadline is April 15th.
